About SVG to PNG / Image Converter

Convert SVG files or pasted SVG code into PNG, JPEG or WebP images at the exact size you need, from 16 px icons to large print graphics. Set the width and height with a ratio lock, or choose a scale or icon size, and pick a transparent, white or custom background. Several SVGs at once download as a ZIP with their file names kept. Conversion runs in your browser.

How to Use

1

Add SVGs

Drop or choose up to 50 .svg files, or paste SVG code into the box. Click Example to try it. Missing xmlns attributes are added for you.

2

Set size and format

Choose a Size preset (1× to 4×, or an icon size from 16 to 1024 px) or type the width and height. Pick PNG, JPEG or WebP and a background.

3

Check and download

The preview updates as you change settings and shows the output size in pixels. Click Download, or Download ZIP when you added several files.

Privacy & Processing

  • Mode: local
  • Files Leave Browser: Local tool processing; review details below
  • Max Input Size: Device memory limits
  • Account Required: No
  • Data Stored Locally: Nothing is saved; your files and code are cleared when you close the page.
  • Network Processing: Assets or models may require an initial download

SVG files and code are converted in your browser and never uploaded.

Rules & Limitations

  • Images, fonts and scripts that the SVG loads from other files or websites are not drawn, which also keeps conversion safe. Embed them in the SVG or convert text to paths first.
  • Outputs can be up to 16,384 px on a side and 64 megapixels in total.
  • JPEG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white unless you choose another background colour.
  • With the ratio lock off, the drawing is centred in the new size rather than stretched (unless the SVG asks to stretch).
  • An SVG with no width, height or viewBox gets the browser default of 300 × 150 px.

SVG to PNG / Image Converter FAQ

How do I convert SVG to PNG?

Drop your SVG file or paste its code, pick a Size preset or type the width you want, keep the format on PNG and click Download PNG.

How do I convert an SVG to a high-resolution PNG?

SVG is a vector format, so it stays sharp at any size. Choose 4× or type a large width such as 4000 px; the image is redrawn at that size rather than enlarged.

Why does my pasted SVG code show an error?

The code must be valid XML, so every tag needs closing and attributes need quotes. The message shows the line and column of the first problem. SVG copied from React (JSX) also needs props like className and strokeWidth written as SVG attributes.

Can I convert many SVG files at once?

Yes. Drop up to 50 SVG files and click Download ZIP. Every image uses the same size settings, and each keeps its file name with the new extension.

Should I choose PNG, JPEG or WebP?

PNG keeps transparency and sharp edges, which suits logos and icons. WebP is usually smaller and also keeps transparency. JPEG is for photos and has no transparency.

Are my SVG files uploaded?

No. They are converted in your browser and never leave your device.
