About Device Mockup Generator

Put a screenshot in a simple phone, laptop or browser frame on a gradient, colour or image background, ready for social posts, app store pages and slides. Pick a square, 4:5 or 16:9 canvas, set the padding, corners and shadow, and export a PNG, JPG or WebP at the screenshot's full resolution, or copy it straight to the clipboard. It runs in your browser.

How to Use

1

Add a screenshot

Drop an image, choose one, or paste it with Ctrl+V. An example screenshot is shown until you do.

2

Style it

Choose a frame (None, Browser, Glass, Phone or Laptop) and its colour, then the canvas size, padding and background: a gradient preset or your own colours, a solid colour, an image, or none.

3

Export

Pick PNG, JPG or WebP and click Download, or click Copy image to paste the mockup into a chat, email or design app.

Privacy & Processing

  • Mode: local
  • Files Leave Browser: Local tool processing; review details below
  • Max Input Size: Device memory limits
  • Account Required: No
  • Data Stored Locally: Nothing is saved; images stay in memory only while this page is open.
  • Network Processing: Assets or models may require an initial download

Screenshots and background images are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Rules & Limitations

  • The frames are simple flat drawings of a phone, laptop and browser window, not photos of real device models.
  • Exports keep the screenshot at its full size, so a 2880 px wide screenshot gives a mockup more than 2880 px wide. Very large results are scaled down to fit the browser's canvas limit, and the size line says so.
  • JPG has no transparency: with Background set to None it becomes white. PNG and WebP keep it transparent.
  • Copy image puts a PNG on the clipboard; some browsers do not allow copying images, so use Download there.

Device Mockup Generator FAQ

How do I put a screenshot in a phone or laptop frame?

Paste or drop the screenshot, choose Phone or Laptop under Frame, and adjust the background and padding. The preview shows the result; click Download to save it at full resolution.

Which size should I use for Instagram or LinkedIn posts?

Use 1:1 or 4:5 for Instagram and LinkedIn feed posts, and 16:9 for X, YouTube thumbnails or slides. The screenshot is centred and the extra space is filled with the background.

Will the mockup be blurry?

No. The export draws the screenshot at its original pixel size and builds the frame and padding around it, so text stays as sharp as in your original. Start from a full-resolution screenshot for the best result.

What is the difference between a device mockup and a screenshot beautifier?

A device mockup shows the screen inside a phone or laptop, while a screenshot beautifier adds padding, rounded corners, a shadow and a background. This tool does both: use Phone or Laptop for devices, or None, Browser and Glass for a cleaner look.

Are my screenshots uploaded?

No. Images are drawn and exported in your browser and never leave your device.
