About Image Watermark Tool

Add a text or logo watermark to photos and ID copies. Set the size, opacity, angle and position, or repeat it across the whole image, and see a live preview. An ID copy preset marks Aadhaar or PAN copies with "Only for <purpose> – <date>" so they can't be reused. Several images can be done at once and saved as a ZIP, all in your browser.

How to Use

1

Add images

Drop, choose or paste one or more images (up to 30). The first one is shown in the preview; click a thumbnail to preview another.

2

Design the watermark

Choose Text or Logo, then set the size, opacity, rotation and layout (Single or Tiled). For ID documents, click "ID copy preset" and type the purpose.

3

Download

Click Download, or "Download all (ZIP)" for several images. Each image is created at full size in its original format.

Rules & Limitations

  • JPG and WebP images stay in their format at the quality you choose, PNG stays PNG. "Save as" lets you pick another format.
  • Sizes are a percentage of each image's width, so the watermark looks the same on large and small photos.
  • Location and camera details (EXIF) are not copied to the watermarked image.
  • Images up to 64 megapixels and 50 MB each. HEIC photos open only in browsers that support them.

Image Watermark Tool FAQ

How do I add a watermark to my Aadhaar copy?

Add the photo or scan of your Aadhaar card, click "ID copy preset" and type the purpose in place of <purpose>, for example "Only for HDFC Bank KYC". The text is repeated diagonally across the card at 30% opacity with today's date, so the copy can't easily be reused elsewhere. Then click Download.

Can I add a logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose Logo, then pick a PNG, SVG or WebP image; one with a transparent background looks best. Set its size, opacity and position, or choose Tiled to repeat it.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Add up to 30 images; the same watermark is applied to each, scaled to its width. Click "Download all (ZIP)" to save them together.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. The watermark is drawn in your browser, so your ID copies and photos never leave your device.

Does adding a watermark reduce photo quality?

A JPG is saved again as JPG at the Quality you set (92% by default), which is close to the original. Choose PNG under "Save as" to avoid any further loss, at the cost of a larger file.
